Magento PageBuilder offers a native slider that, in principle, is a great solution:

• does not require external libraries,

• is fully integrated with the content editor,

• supports separate images for desktop and mobile,

• works correctly with cache, Varnish, and PageBuilder Preview.

Unfortunately, in practice many Magento stores encounter the same issues, especially with modern, responsive layouts.

Problems with the native PageBuilder slider

In the default PageBuilder configuration:

• the slider height is rigidly enforced (min-height),

• image proportions do not reflect the asset's real dimensions,

• on mobile, empty margins appear above and below the slider,

• the slider does not always respond correctly to breakpoint changes,
