VITCAS Ltd is a company operating in many markets, serving both individual customers and businesses. In this project, the key was to streamline the checkout process without changing user habits.
Customer needs
better design and readability of the shopping cart,
intuitive handling of company data (e.g. VAT/NIP),
retaining the standard two-step Magento shopping cart,
assurance that the solution will not hinder future Magento updates.
Implemented solution
We used the Kowal_Checkout module, which is based on the native Magento shopping cart and introduces improvements in the layout and presentation of fields, making the checkout process more transparent for B2C and B2B customers.

GERDA serves both individual and business customers, so it was crucial to create a shopping basket that would be simple for B2C users, yet convenient and clear for businesses.
The Kowal_Checkout module made it possible to organise the order form, improve the readability of fields, and logically separate contact and company details – without giving up the native, two-step Magento shopping cart.
