Toursport.pl - sprzęt sportowy i odzież outdoorowa

toursport.pl

toursport.pl is a store with an extensive offering that includes sports equipment, outdoor clothing, and scooters. In this sales model, one of the challenges is quickly directing customers’ attention to new promotions, seasonal offers, and selected product groups.
In this store, Kowal Announcement Bar serves as a dynamic communication strip visible immediately after entering the website. Thanks to message rotation, the store can present several important pieces of information without taking up additional layout space. The module is used primarily to:

  • inform customers about new promotions,
  • highlight selected products and categories,
  • communicate current sales campaigns.

The ability to set separate background and text colors for each message plays an important role here. This makes it possible to visually separate different types of information, such as promotions, new arrivals, or seasonal messages. As a result, the store gains a simple but highly effective sales communication channel that can be updated without changing the website code.

TourSport.pl – size chart management for multiple manufacturers

The TourSport.pl store offers a wide range of sports and outdoor products, from technical apparel and accessories to travel equipment from many different manufacturers.

Problem

Stores offering products from many brands very often face challenges related to different sizing systems. Each manufacturer uses its own fit chart, size labels, and measurement parameters.

In practice, this means that:

  • one size M can represent completely different measurements depending on the brand

  • manufacturers use different table layouts (height, chest circumference, sleeve length, etc.)

  • customers have difficulty choosing the right size

For TourSport, this meant the need to present many different size charts, often assigned to specific manufacturers or product categories.

Solution

Implementing the Size Chart for Magento 2 module enabled flexible size chart management across the entire store.

With the module, the store administrator can:

  • assign individual size charts to specific products

  • assign one chart to multiple products at once

  • create different chart sets for different manufacturers

  • manage them easily from the Magento admin panel

This approach keeps size information consistent throughout the store, even when the offering includes products from many brands.

Result

After implementing the module, the TourSport store gained a much clearer system for presenting size charts.

Key benefits:

  • customers find the right product fit information faster

  • the number of size-related questions is reduced

  • the store administrator can conveniently manage charts for the entire offering

As a result, the Size Chart for Magento 2 module became an important element improving the shopping experience in a store offering products from many manufacturers.

Case Study – toursport.pl

For toursport.pl, we implemented a + / − quantity control in the cart because users often changed quantities (e.g., apparel/sizes, accessories, sets), and manually entering values slowed down the process.

Problem:

  • customers edited quantities in multiple steps,

  • some mobile users had difficulty precisely tapping the qty field,

  • after changing quantities, they expected totals and the mini-cart to update immediately.

Solution:

  • we added intuitive pill-shaped +/− buttons,

  • we enabled AJAX recalculations without refreshing the page (totals + mini-cart),

  • we matched the style to the cart layout so the control looked like a native part of the theme.

Business impact (practical):

  • faster cart editing,

  • less frustration on mobile,

  • a more “app-like” cart → a better shopping experience.

Case Study – toursport.pl Implementation

At toursport.pl, after making a purchase, customers often looked for information on “what’s next” — where to check order details, how shipping/fulfillment works, and which products to choose as accessories. The default Magento success page was too limited and did not provide space for clear instructions.

Implemented Solution

We used the Kowal_CheckoutThankYouPage module to:

  • keep full order details on the success page (items, amounts, data),

  • add a dedicated CMS block prepared for toursport.pl at the bottom.

The CMS block included, among other things:

  • a brief “what’s next” guide (email, fulfillment time, contact),

  • a section with help links (returns, complaints, terms and conditions),

  • a banner encouraging further purchases (e.g., accessories/add-ons),

  • a sales message aligned with the brand.

Result

  • The customer immediately sees not only the order number, but also complete information and instructions.

  • The store team can edit the content without developer involvement — simply by replacing the CMS block.

  • The solution is lightweight and secure: it does not interfere with the order process, only with the success page view.

Case Study: toursport.pl

Project: toursport.pl
Technology: Magento 2 + PageBuilder
Problem: The homepage slider lost its proportions on mobile—empty margins appeared above and below the graphic, and the height was artificially forced regardless of screen size.

Challenge

The Toursport team used the native PageBuilder slider because of:

  • easy content editing,

  • the ability to set separate desktop / mobile images,

  • good integration with cache and performance.

At the same time, PageBuilder’s default behavior caused:

  • an unattractive slider appearance on smartphones,

  • failure to preserve image proportions,

  • issues when changing resolutions.

Solution

Kowal PageBuilder Slider Fix was applied, which:

  • removed the fixed min-height,

  • allowed the slider height to adjust to the actual image proportions,

  • kept the full screen width,

  • properly handled mobile images.

Result

  • ✔ perfect responsiveness on all devices,

  • ✔ no empty margins on mobile,

  • ✔ native PageBuilder preserved without additional sliders,

  • ✔ improved visual perception of the homepage.

The module was implemented without affecting performance and without the need to modify content in PageBuilder.
